About me
Hey there and thanks for swinging by my site. Now before you begin exploring the pages, you should know something about me. I’m obsessed with one belief – I believe entrepreneurship is the answer to the greatest issues we face today and I’ve dedicated my life accordingly. Today, this passion for entrepreneurship and startups has led to the creation of the Unreasonable Group. Our push is to create a collective family of companies that will, together, put the greatest challenges of our time
where they belong… in a museum. Of course, like everyone’s story, mine is filled with setbacks, false hopes, and tribulations spotted with moments of luck and good timing. And yet, even with the struggles and the grind, I’ve always loved startups. By the time I had finished my freshman year in undergrad, I had launched 3 companies (more like experiments). Today, I keep myself busy with the many projects under the Unreasonable Group, as well as writing, speaking, and running with my dog in beautiful Boulder, CO.
Why did I build this site? I’m stubborn about taking as small a salary as possible from my ventures. I’d rather leverage every penny we make & put it back into our teams & the problems we are working to solve. To this end, I strive to generate all my income through speaking engagements. I take pride in keynoting and speaking about insights informed by the philosophies underlying our companies – all predicated on our beliefs about entrepreneurship, design-thinking, innovation, & capitalism in a rapidly changing world. Most large companies know they need to reach new markets, but are baffled by emerging market dynamics. As Epstein says “We are spearheading a campaign to meet the needs of the billions who sit at the base of our world’s economic pyramid… we are unleashing the potential of the largest emerging market in the history of humankind.”
Unreasonable, based in Boulder, Colo., is a bit like the TED conference on steroids… But where TED brings luminaries together for a day or two to discuss a particular problem plaguing the world, Unreasonable focuses on the start-up businesses offering solutions to those problems.
Not every company can drive passion like Unreasonable, or create an organic movement that turns into a rapidly expanding brand universe. But there are lessons every business can take away. Unreasonable lives at the convergence of business and belief. As Epstein says “This is not business as usual, this is business unusual.”
The Unreasonable experiment has unequivocally demonstrated the power of an unlikely mix of factors—seclusion, immersion, authentic mentoring, and intense personal bonding—to yield profound individual and organizational transformation during a relatively short period of time.

Likely the only time you’ll ever see me in a suit and tie. That said, I had to dress up for a photo-shoot with Kaya (my dog).
Below are a few milestones or points of recognition that make my mom blush. Although I have worked tirelessly day in and day out to attempt to realize a few unreasonable dreams, these achievements have much more to do with the fact that I work with people far smarter than myself and I stand on the shoulder’s of giants (friends, family, mentors, investors, teammates, partners, customers, and fellow entrepreneurs).
